Thank you for getting in touch with us to provide you feedback and I'm sorry to hear that you and your friends had a negative experience whilst attending an event at Optus Stadium.  We expect that patrons attending events at Optus Stadium are considerate in their behaviour towards other patrons, occasionally it’s not always the case.

The recommended course of action if you experience any issues during an event is to speak with a member of Optus Stadium staff or security personnel. We also have a Patron Assistance text number for reporting problems - 0409 317 771.  

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about any patrons behaviour unless we are advised at the time of the event, so we have the opportunity to assist as appropriate. We are unable to track down a patron using their seating location, regardless of whether they are members or not, due to privacy reasons and they also may not be the original ticket holder. 

Whilst we also have a comprehensive CCTV system throughout the venue and Stadium Park, we do not have facial recognition technology available to us. 

If a matter is reported to staff at the time, we can arrange for security to attend if appropriate - with specific details required for any immediate action to be taken, such as examples of specific language or gestures being used.
