Thank you for your enquiry regarding access to Optus Stadium. We encourage patrons to consider their own health and well-being when choosing to attend a major event. 

Due to the scale of the venue, there may be large crowds, increased noise levels, and extended periods of standing or walking. Please ensure you are comfortable with these conditions before attending.

There are lifts located at every entry gate that service each level, in the western (Gate D) and eastern entrances (Gate A and B) there are escalators. Please be mindful that during busy periods demand for lifts is high, we encourage patrons who are willing and able to use the stairs or escalators. 

Due to safety and security reasons, large mobility aids can only be stored at the entry gates cloakrooms. Items such as crutches and walking sticks that can be collapsed or stored under seats can be, on the provision that they don't cause an obstruction or trip hazard for other patrons.

If a wheelchair or mobility aid is required to get to seats, it can be used for that purpose and then returned to the gate if the user is accompanied. Due to safety and security reasons, wheelchairs and mobility aids cannot be left on the concourse if a wheelchair accessible seat has not been purchased.

We have wheelchairs located at each entry gate that customer service staff have access to, for the purposes of assisting immobile patrons to their seats if required. Due to the limited availability, there may be a wait for a wheelchair to become available.
